Our family has owned these two villas overlooking the sea at Binibéquer (also known as Binibeca) for over twenty years and has spent many wonderful holidays here.
Binibéquer is situated on the south of the island, just twenty minutes from the ancient city of Maó (also known as Mahon) and the airport. It is a quiet, family orientated place, with villas rather than noisy bars, discos and hotels. However there are plenty of restaurants and shops.
Our villas are next door to each other and both overlook a rocky cove just 50 metres away with excellent swimming in crystal-clear water. There is even a set of steps to make getting in and out of the water easy. There are no buildings between the villas and the sea, so the views are superb and you can hear the gentle lap of the sea from the villas. Binibéquer beach is a 10-15 minute walk from the villas. There are shops and restaurants nearby so a car is not essential. Cars can be rented at the airport or at Binibéquer itself if you want just the occasional day.
