The much loved Villa Doc is situated on its own plot just 50 metres from the sea, with an unbeatable and unobstructed view over a beautiful swimming cove. Shops, restaurants and the beach are all within a 5-15 minute walk.
Villa Doc comprises three principal bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twin beds. The open-plan sitting and dining area is conveniently between the kitchen and the terrace. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. The part-shaded sun terrace overlooks the sea and is equipped with a stone-built barbecue, ideal for eating and relaxing. There is also a sunroof, which is wonderful for sunbathing, and an additional patio to the rear of the property. There is further outdoor seating, with views of the sea, in a shaded gazebo.
There is a large, comfortable sofa in the living area, allowing you to relax indoors. The double bedroom has a washbasin and en-suite w.c. and shower. The other two rooms share a newly-refurbished bathroom with a large walk-in shower, w.c. and washbasin. There is a further shower, w.c. and hand basin in a separate room (which also contains a Washing Machine). There is a flat-screen TV with a DVD player (and a selection of DVDs), but there is no TV reception.
There is wonderful swimming in the cove which the villa overlooks, or at the beach, a 10-15 minute walk away, and there is a lovely uncrowded pool at Binibéquer Vell (the fishing village), where they are happy to let you swim for the price of a few drinks.
WiFi access is widespread in cafés and bars. Sa Botiga, the excellent food shop south of Sant Lluis has a bar with free WiFi, as does Bracafe, Avenida de Sa Pau 28, and Casino Bar both in Sant Lluis, a short drive from the villa. In Mahon, Cafe Ses Palmares, 6 Plaza Colon just off the main shopping street has WiFi and there are many more.
